In 2011 a new automated complex manufactured by Danieli is being installed at JSC RUSPOLYMET. The complex includes two modules: forging and steel-making ones. The forging module comprises 1600-ton open forging hydraulic press and two manipulators (rail mounted and mobile), as well as two furnaces, i.e. chamber gas heating furnace and heat treatment furnace. |
The forging module provides for manufacturing of forgings from carbon, alloyed, titanium and heat-resistant steels and alloys. |
